We recently bought 3 mares and a foal, from a herd of 25. We were told that we could ride them, no problem! After having a unscheduled dismount, we discovered that not only were they not ready to ride, but they didn't like to be brushed, feet picked up, or have anything to do with us in general. A friend recommended KJ to us so we gave him a call. We have had 7 sessions so far and the horses have improved 150%! The techniques he teaches, teaches both the horses and us how to gain trust in each other. The horses have learned so much in such a short time. We can now pick up the feet, brush them, lunge them, and we are now working on accepting the bridle and saddle. He doesn't use force, and the horses respond to his gentleness. We would highly recommend KJ to anyone who wants to learn along with their horse. We are looking forward to enjoying our horses out on the trails!
